Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Katrin Hartmann, Irenenstr. 14, 10317 Berlin, Germany. Phone 030 5252240. E-mail: [e-mail address — to be supplied]

2. Principle

This website is built to be data-minimal. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no maps or videos and loads no third-party content. Fonts are stored locally on this website's own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

3. Server log files

When you visit, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation). This data is not combined with other sources.

4. Contact form

If you send us the form, we process the data you provide (name, phone number or e-mail address, message) solely in order to handle your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (the consent you give expressly on submission) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact by telephone

If you call us, we process what you tell us in order to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) / (f) GDPR).

6. Abuse prevention

To fend off automated submissions the form contains a hidden field and the number of submissions per IP address is briefly limited. No cookies are set and no data is passed to third parties.

7. Hosting

This website is hosted with a service provider inside the European Union, which processes the data in section 3 on our behalf under an Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement.

8. Your rights

Access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please use the contact details above.

9. Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

10. Status

This policy will be updated whenever the processing changes.
